~Just Do It~

This week has been such a great week for me. I found out I got the job and I get to move back to Idaho :) Today I thought I would push myself since I seem to have done that a lot lately and only good things can happen if you try hard.

So my goal for tonight was to see if I could run 2 miles. I have only been back into running for about a week and a half and thought "I know I can run 2 miles it's just a matter of pushing myself." And that's exactly what I did! I pushed myself and ran 2 miles today and at the hottest part of the day too! Nike's saying "Just Do It!" is perfect. Stop making up excuses and just do it! No matter what it is in life sometimes you just have to jump in and I learned that from my family too. Sometimes to make life keep going and to make the positive changes you want you have to put in some risk. If you don't risk it you may never get where you are wanting to go.

Idaho Look Out!

Yesterday was the big day for me. I took the tour of the center and then I took the test to see if I would now become a Century Link employee. After a 2 hour test I found out that I passed! I'm so happy that I have this job and I will be able to move back to Idaho. It's not every day that an opportunity like this comes around. The move back date is September 17th and it doesn't seem likes its coming up fast but I know that it will. I have lots of packing to do in the next 3 weeks. I want to thank everyone whose prayers were with me. But look out Idaho I'm coming back and I plan on staying!

Tomorrow is the big day for me!! I have my assesment for Century Link at 8:30 am and I will find out if I got the job. This job is going to change my life and for the better. Getting this job will mean moving back too Idaho and being closer to my friend and family, as well as starting a new chapter in my life. I will be able to go to college and start focusing on my future. Everyone pray for me that everything will go well and that I will get the job.

Life Just Keeps On Going

It's been pretty busy and hectic lately for me, so I apologize for the lack of blogging. Through all this hectic time I have got some good news! :) Century Link is going to interview me and if everything goes right and I get the job I will be moving back to Idaho in September sometime! :) I am really hoping that everything goes well. I'm excited for this job and everything that it has to offer me. Besides that tidbit of information there isn't much new in my life. I just keep living each and every day with as much happiness as I can. I hope to have more good news sometime next week! I will keep you all posted.

Home Sweet Home

This week has been very busy and so was this weekend. Finally today I got to just stop and relax for the day. I received a letter from some very sweet cousins this weekend and I just couldn't help but post what they sent me!

It is a bit hard to read so here is what it says: " Hello Brooke. Your in Utah right now but that doesn't mean we forgot you please expect more of these letters" I read this and I about started crying! These boys are something I tell you! :)

Luke's Letter

These boys surprise me everyday with how funny and caring they are! I do expect more letters from you! haha!

On Saturday I had to go to work at the fair and let me tell you one thing I learned....no one, and I repeat No One! buys a phone from a fair. So let's just say I had lots of down time at the fair. Luckily I wasn't working alone :) Saturday night and today have just been me being a bum and catching up on my rest getting ready for another week of work!

Lazy Day

My day has been inspired by Bruno Mars who couldn't have said it any better then with his "Lazy Song" That has been my day today! Sometimes we all just need a break and to have our lazy days. Although some of you might say every day is my lazy day! haha! The rest of the week I have to work, work, work. Let me pray for some good sales and to make some Commission.

I have decided I need to start making my own recipe book. No, I don't mean actually making my own recipes that would only spell out D-I-S-A-S-T-E-R! Maybe with the help of some amazing women in my family they can help me start out by sending me some of their favorite recipes. I am trying to cook more home made meals but I don't have any of the good recipes I grew up on. I need to make my famous pistachio salad sometime soon! But sadly I haven't had the occasion for it.

I hope that we all may have a great rest of the week and enjoy the weekend when it comes! :) I will leave you with this quote to remember:

"Keep love in your heart. A life without it is like a sunless garden when the flowers are dead. The consciousness of loving and being loved brings a warmth and richness to life that nothing else can bring. "
-Oscar Wilde

Love The Little Things

I am making the best out of life and living each moment to the fullest. I love my job working at a cell phone store. I have my wonderful boyfriend Ricky and my dear little cat Raja. They both keep me sane and entertained. Ricky and I have been together for 3 years and its been filled with happiness. It seems like we all take life for granted but I'm trying to live every day with as much happiness as I can or at least try to make the best out of every situation.

Whenever I think back on my life I think about the people who supported me and were always there for me. I have such a wonderful family and they have always been my #1 fan. As time goes on you realize how important the people are in your life. I have and I know that they always love me. Only you can take what you want from this life and make the best out of it. My final words for now are from my one and only Papa "If I wanted it I'd take it." Remember that when choosing what you want from life. Take it when you want it and make the best out of every dream, desire, or wish.
