Ready, Set, Panic Mode

June is almost over, just less then 12 hours and its done. And that is where my panic mode is beginning. I have a wedding to plan amd I want it next June but have gotten no where with the planning. I guess just going to weddings and never even helping with the plans you never realize how much hard work it takes to make that special day happen. Finding a reasonably priced venue has seemed nearly impossible. I just need to start somewhere and get the ball rolling but where to start?...that's right on the venue that seems impossible to find. Well once I can find that I will have more updates for everyone.

Other then trying to plan a wedding things have been calm around the houshold. We have just been taking everything day by day. We are loving life and staying cool in this weather!

Radioactive

I have so much news to share I just don't know where to begin! I will start with the fact that I am done with my math class and I passed with an 80% can I get a whoop whoop?! I am glad that I took the class but I am glad that I am done as well! Next up on the list is that I went to my second concert and I must say it was by far the best! Imagine Dragons brought so much energy to the stage and they made it so enjoyable. If they ever come back you can bet you will see me there!

Now that I have a phone I can blog from I have no excuse as to why I shouldn't be updating this on a regular basis....right? Hooefully I am alot better about it but we will see! :P

Work is going great and life is just amazing! My next thing on my to-do list is to make my wedding happen! Let me the planning start now!

February Already!

Where to begin? I have been meaning to blog lately and to keep everyone updated but life has been CRAZY! I think the best place to begin would be to update everyone on how my school is going. The first week and a half were review and now it's getting more difficult. The quizzes would have to be the hardest part so far. After doing the homework and thinking I understand it I go to take the quiz and I don't do so well. This just means I need to study a lot more before taking the quiz.

Ricky is on a new work schedule again but it's not bad. He is now working from 6 am to 2:30 pm, like I said not to bad of a shift. I always get to come home to a nice, hot, delicious dinner! I am one lucky girl! :)

We haven't made any headway on a date yet for our wedding but we are trying to. We were thinking this September but with all these vacations that have already been planned and the fact that we have no money we are back to the original June 2014 time. I think this means that we need a girls day to start planning some things :)

Other then those few updates there isn't anything new to update you on. We are just busy, busy people!

Goodbye 2012....Hello 2013

2012 left just as quick as it came. There are so many memories in what seems like such a short amount of time. Some memories stick out more and others you have to really think about before you can remember them so here are my memories that stuck out:
~ I turned 20 and had a family birthday party in my tiny apartment. How we all fit in there I still don't know!
~Kimberly joined our family in April
~Tucker graduated from high school
~I had my wisdom teeth pulled and survived!
~While I was suffering from said wisdom teeth removal everyone else was having fun at Roaring Springs!
~I lost my job at Centurylink only to be blessed with another job 2 weeks later.
~Ricky proposed to me at Hyde Park on Sept 16th
~We celebrated Thanksgiving with 3 families and it made for a hectic but wonderful day.
~Candy making day was rescheduled so that all the family could be there (even though the cost of that was family being sick)
~We went bowling as a family at Pinz in our ugly Christmas attire (which I still think I won that competition)
~Ricky and I moved from our little apartment and now are in a beautiful home!
~Christmas we spent with 3 families again but it's always worth it.
~We brought in the New Year with Ricky's family.
These are just a few memories that will always stick out to me. There are so many more memories not listed here that will always hold a special place in my heart.

Now with 2013 here we are happy to announce the two newest members of our family!

These two will be the biggest help in our little household! It's amazing having a washer and dryer so I can do laundry and then go back into the living room and watch tv....also without having to go outside in the freezing cold just to switch the laundry over it has been a huge life saver!

Our first load of laundry :)
Besides adjusting to having a home and continuing with work there is not much new in our lives. I do start school on the 22nd and I am very excited for that! I hope everyone's year is starting off great!

And a quick hello from Ricky eating at Red Lobster! haha!

Day Shifts...OH MY!

This week started off really rough for me. I went to take my Compass test on Tuesday and when I got there I couldn't take my test because the network was down. That wasn't so bad I understood that it happens sometimes. I said I would come back again the next day around the same time and they said it should be good to go. Well on Wednesday I head on over to take my Compass test again and I find out that they had closed early. At this point I was getting really irritated the second trip I had made without taking my test. Finally on Thursday I went back and I got to take my Compass test. I was done withing 30 minutes which isn't too bad but it isn't the greatest either. I tested out of the remedial classes for math and they recommended college level Intermediate Algebra. I was just glad I finally got the Compass test out of the way. November 26th starts when I can register for a class. I will start off with one class and go from there.

This week ended great! Ricky called and let me know that the part time workers were laid off. Which, of course, worried me that he would be the next one gone. He told me that his step grandpa actually really likes him and wants to go to college to learn more about becoming a machinist. How great is that?! And also, that he might be able to help him out with some of his college! How neat?! And to put the icing on the cake because of some layoffs they have put everyone on day shifts. Being patient has really paid off for him! It will be nice to have our nights together.

Saturday Hailey and I went to see Twilight Breaking Dawn part 2 and it was good :) Hailey did get a little upset in some parts which was kind of funny! You will have to ask her why she was getting upset. I finished up Saturday night going to Buffalo Wild Wings to watch the UFC fights with Ricky. All in all, the week started off rough but ended great! Hope everyone has a great week.

TrIcK oR tReAt

So I have been told that it has been almost a month since my last post! Oh my has time flown by without me realizing it. My updates are very minimal. I am loving my job and it's been so great being away from a call center. For Halloween I am sitting here watching Hocus Pocus by myself and eating some homemade soup while Ricky is at work. I am so excited to see all the costumes and this is my first year handing out candy. I am surprised that I just had my first two trick or treaters since we are in an apartment complex and most people don't go where there isn't a lot of lighting. They were super cute as a ghoul and a nurse :) Let's hope that more of them come otherwise I will have to eat all of the candy myself! I hope everyone is having a wonderful Halloween!

A New Beginning

It's so hard to believe that I have been engaged for 5 days! I am so happy and excited! Ricky was so great about planning it and making it a total secret. I will always remember how special his proposal was :) The whole week before Ricky was talking about doing a time capsule together to dig up in 15 years and see what has changed. Well we started gathering memories about our life together and finally bought something we could bury them in. Sunday September 16th he took me up to Camel's Back in Hyde Park and made me hike all the way to the top in flip flops! haha! We had brought up some stuff for out time capsule to just look over and read while enjoying the view. I read some of my notes that I had given him clear back in high school! Then Ricky said he had a letter to read me, because of course me being me I wrote him probably 20 times more then he wrote me, so he was trying to make up for that with this letter. The letter told of our life journey and how we met and at the end he said "We have some amazing memories together but I feel that, that is only the beginning and that this story is only missing one thing to make the first chapter of this story complete. But instead of me writing it down I will show you what we are missing." He then got down on one knee and asked me to marry him!! :') I started crying and of course I said YES!!

We have now ended the first chapter of our story together and are continuing to the second chapter with what ever it may bring. As of now I see our second chapter holding school in our future, a wedding, and just pure happiness. I couldn't ask for a better fiance who makes me complete, who loves me for my good and bad, who loves me for me, and who will love me unconditionally for the rest of our lives.
